The slate boards are solid and easy to install on the wall. Some cementitious glue points on the back of the tiles, and you attach them to the existing wall covering (plasterboard, plywood or fiber cement board). Being a freestanding product there is therefore no joints.
Even though laying a slate coating is not a complicated operation, it is important to take some measures first. We must prepare the wall. This one must be dry and clean and we will give you some starting tips to make sure that the layout of the pads will always be in the desired angle. It is strongly recommended to pose from bottom to top so that the final result is perfect.
For several projects there will be wall corners to consider. Our slate paneling makes it easy. Since each of them are unique, you can arrange them as you wish. We use the same pieces for regular surfaces or corners, it's as simple as cutting the ends of the pieces at a 90° angle. So no extra costs for the purchase of corners that often hardly fits. Since our product is all natural stones and not pre-formatted panels, the arrangement won't be repetitive.
